Student Led Conferences

Students Led Conferences/Interviews are scheduled to take place next week. As parents and family members, you are critical partners in helping support your child’s learning and growth, and these meetings will be an opportunity for you to show this support. 

A few reminders regards students Led Conferences/Interviews;

• Meetings are held on Monday 15th May: 3.30pm to 4.30pm
• Tuesday 16th May: 2.00pm to 7.30pm. 
• The students will finish school on Tuesday at normal school time, 3.30pm. They will be supervised after lunch by other staff.
• Meetings will be held in your child’s classroom - they are face to face meetings.
• If your appointment time is during school hours on Tuesday, your child will meet you at their classroom for their interview. 
• If you wish to take your child home after your interview, you will need to inform their classroom teacher so they sign them out.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to reflect on their progress and showcase their learning to you.

Here are some prompts to assist you and your child during the conference:

• What learning area do you enjoy most and why?
• I really like how you…
• I am proud of how you have…
• I have learnt so much about your learning and where you are at.

Parents will have another formal opportunity to meet with teachers again towards the end of Term 3.
