Who's Who in the Primary?

Karen Giudici

So who is in the Primary School?

Last term we invited staff to introduce themselves to the College community giving us a chance to get an insight into who they are and what makes them tick. In this edition of The View, we would like to introduce to you Mrs Karen Giudici who co-teaches Kinder.  Karen also happens to be a former Mount Carmel student.

What is your favourite colour?

My favourite colour is all shades of blue.

What is your favourite movie/song/book?

Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Unsted is one of my favourite books. The author cleverly describes Kristin's life from birth to her death bed.

'Out of Africa' is my favourite film; I was born in East Africa at a place called Karen after Karen von Blixen a Danish woman who moved to Kenya to set up a coffee farm.

How do you relax and unwind?

Being near the sea, warm and with family and friends is my favourite way to relax. I love to garden as well.

What are you most looking forward to this year?

I'm tremendously looking forward to the opening of the new Early Learning Centre - The Louisa.

What quote, line from a song or motto sums you up?

My favourite saying, 'From little things, big things grow'!
