Congratulations to Year 8 student Elsa Pearsall on her inclusion in the Swimming Tasmania State Team. The team will be travelling to New Zealand in August to compete in the New Zealand Short Course Championships in Hawkes Bay.

Elsa, who swims for The Hobart Aquatic Club, spent her April school holidays on the Gold Coast competing at her first Australian Age Championships. Elsa swam in the 13yrs 100m and 200m breaststroke, making the finals of the 100m event. She also swam in the State Medley Relay team.

Congratulations to Year 9 student Arielle Cannell for being awarded Glenorchy Council's Sports Person of the Year.

Congratulations to Year 10 student Bailey Van Den Broek on her selection into the Tasmanian 15&U Netball Team for the School Sports Australia tournament taking place in Perth in July.
