Interschool Sport Report

Niamh Bruggeman: On Friday the 12th of May, the Year 5 and 6 students played their first round of Interschool Sport. Our first round was against St Anthony’s in Glen Huntly. We had two netball teams; one mixed team and one girl’s team. Everyone played a great game and showed good sportsmanship towards the other school. In the first game, the final score was 11-2 in favour of St Agnes’. In the second game the score was 33- 6.

Jack O’Brien: We went off to the footy for the first round of Interschool Sport. We played at Highett Reserve. We didn't have many of the Year 5 and 6 students, but we were lucky to have a few Year 4s to help us. Thank you Year 4s for making the numbers! We played against Glen Huntly for the first round. It was a really close game for the first half but St Agnes’ pulled away and claimed the victory, winning by about 3-4 goals. Thank you Mr Foott for coaching and a big thank you to Mr Kost for making the teams. Thank you to everybody for giving it a go and we, Sport Captains, hope to see the Year 4s playing Footy again for us. Thank you Year 4s!

Lucas Atsis: We would like to thank St Anthony's Glen Huntly for showing great sportsmanship and not giving up even if they were losing. Great job to all of the year 5/6s who played football and netball for interschool sport last Friday thank you!
