SIGNIFICANT PERSON'S DAY - YEAR 8

Tuesday 7 September

Significant Person’s Day is an important day in the school calendar for Year 8s. This annual event is an opportunity for Year 8 students to share with a significant person in their lives just what that person means to them.

In past years, this has meant an afternoon tea at the school, and a presentation and art gallery of work students had created in their Arts, English and Language subjects. This year, the event was virtual, with us all participating on a screen!

Significant Person’s Day was definitely not what we planned it to be, but it was definitely a great afternoon. Congratulations to everyone who was presenting at the presentation. You all did amazing.

Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this day special, and thank you to all the parents who took time out of their busy days to come to the event. We are sure that students that didn’t participate, took some time to share with the subject of their presentation just how important they are.

We'd like to thank the front line workers of our nation who are keeping us safe whether that's the kind service people at Coles or the amazing doctors treating patients in the hospital, we appreciate all of you and that hard work you put in to make us all safe and hopefully able to get back to school soon.
