Music

Students are to be commended for their application and flexibility in attending to their individual music development and ensemble participation throughout Term 3.  Term 4 promises to present wonderful opportunities for students across the College to prepare and present their musical endeavour.  Timetables for Term 4 music lessons have been distributed and are displayed on the music noticeboards.  Students are reminded that all music lesson times should be marked in their student record book.  Lessons missed without required notice will be charged.

The Music Department will again present Virtual Music Soirees in Term Four. Students are reminded to watch their Instrumental Music Teams messages for notifications and start preparing your next performance now.

VCE Music Performance Examinations commence this weekend and we wish Euan Sutherland all the best.  Euan commenced his drumkit journey with former College percussion teacher, Mr Michael Evans-Barker and has prepared for his final VCE Performance Examination for the past two years under the guidance of Mr Blake Hansen.  Euan will perform a repertoire of 25 minutes, including solo snare drum works and works with backing track from Latin to Alternative Rock and Funk.  You will be able to catch some of his performance in the soon to be released Virtual VCE Music Soiree.
