Myrniong - ELC to Yr 6

Term Four Return to School

Tuesday saw our Early Learning Centre Piccinos’, Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students return to face-to-face learning. It was lovely to see the students after Term Three’s R.L.P 6.1 and the recent school holidays. They certainly returned to school with enthusiasm, energy and a smile. Our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 students will commence their staggered return next Tuesday, 12 October 12.  Parents are permitted to enter the school buildings for drop off and pick up once they have QR coded. Signs can be found with codes at both entrances to the Handbury Centre (Prep, Year 1, Year 2 area), at the front of the Myrniong Homestead and at each classroom.

With the evolving COVID situation in Victoria front of mind, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel all Term Four Junior School camps. Whilst this will be disappointing to our families, the safety of all our students and staff is always at the centre of our thinking. Any deposit payments will be refunded to family accounts.

Staffing and Prep 2022

Thursday 14 October sees the start of our 2022 Prep Transition program. I am pleased to announce Mrs. Sharon Kelly as the Prep teacher for 2022.  Sharon has a wealth of teaching experience in the early years area of the school. The Prep Transition program will run for six weeks, culminating with Orientation Day on Thursday 18 November. Staffing for all classes will be announced in the week of Orientation Day.
