Buses

Information from the School Bus Management System (DET) as below.

Public Transport Victoria has approved cash handling in regional Victoria. Herein, they will be selling tickets on our PTV school runs and Town Bus.

Given the uncertainty around the end date of the current COVID-19 restrictions and in acknowledgement of the limited access to the school bus in 2021, the Student Transport Unit will provide all existing fare-paying travellers on School Bus Program services with a credit for their Term 4 travel. Any new fare-paying travellers in Term 4 will be required to pay the standard fare of $120.

The credit for existing travellers will be applied automatically in the School Bus Management System.  No action is required by families other than to accept their travel offer.

In acknowledgement of the limited access to the school bus for parts of 2021 due to COVID-19, the Department of Education and Training has advised that all families who paid for travel on the school bus in Term 3, 2021, will receive a credit for travel in Term 4, 2021.

If you paid for bus travel in Term 3 for your child/ren, travel offers in the School Bus Management System for Term 4 will not require a fare payment.

If you are a new family applying for travel in Term 4 and you are not eligible for transport assistance, your child/ren’s travel applications will be assessed in accordance with the school bus policy and will require the standard fare payment of $1.20.

Uniform

For the first three weeks of Term 4, either summer

or winter uniform may be worn, depending on the weather, but it must be correct uniform.

With summer uniform, the College hat must always be worn when outdoors.

With hairdressing salons now open, bookings for haircuts prior to the resumption of on-site classes are available in regional areas.

Track Pants (Sport)

“Accurate Clothing” (Hamilton) now stocks a new range of Monivae trackpants, made by Canterbury. Only Monivae College labelled trackpants may be worn herein by students for Physical Education classes and for representative sport.
