Duke of Ed Students

This term our Duke of Ed students have been focusing on the skill component of their award seeing them learn a variety of household, clothing and cooking skills.

The students have really enjoyed being back in the classroom completing practical tasks and skills that will be beneficial for life beyond school.

With the amazing help of Gen Keenan, some recent skills completed by our Dukes students have been; ironing, how to tie a tie, handwashing, folding and hanging out clothes, learning some household skills such as vacuuming, mowing lawns, and washing dishes by hand and creating and cooking a meal for at least two people under $10.

Our Dukes students continue to amaze us with their creativity and willingness to learn. Well done Dukes.

Note: There was no food poisoning or fire in the creation of these meals.
