Wellbeing

Focusing on the positives as we come out of (yet another) Lockdown.

 

Tomorrow (Friday) I will be offering an optional Wellbeing session where I will read a story and complete an activity. The focus is to place our emphasis on the things we are looking forward to, now that we have the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Self-care for Parents

This week has been tough for every single metropolitan Melbourne family. The idea of returning to remote and flexible learning was overwhelming for our children, teachers and carers. 

As parents/carers, we often push our needs back to ensure that our children feel safe, secure and happy. But we cannot drink from an empty cup.

It is important that we display the importance of self-care to our children and to value it. Take some time out for yourself, doing something that you really enjoy, so that you can re-fuel and be strong, positive and present for your child.
