School Captains 2021

Hello everyone! Our names are Paul and Tara and we are so honoured and excited to have been elected by students and teachers as the 2021 school captains!

This year was the first year that all students and teachers had the opportunity to vote for their school captains, and we are both very happy to have the whole school involved in the process.  As we move into the new school year, we aim to represent the students and teachers of BSC as best as we can -  so if you ever see us around the school yard and have a suggestion or question, feel free to come and talk to us or send us an email! 

Next year some of our goals include improving BSC’s sustainability practices, expanding and reforming our House System, supporting our new Year 7 students as they begin a new chapter of their life, organising fun and engaging school events such as lunchtime concerts,  and working closely with Student Representatives to organise forums that will ensure all students to have a direct avenue to exercise their student voice.

We look forward to meeting many of you over the next year, and we look forward to working with the many students who will join us by taking on a role in the SRC. We want to support all students to the best of our abilities and uphold the importance of student voice. We believe that every student at Brunswick Secondary College deserves the opportunity to thrive and to enjoy a successful school experience. We are excited to revitalise the SRC body.
