Peer Support is the student-led body of the wellbeing team which consists of Year 10 and Year 11 students who are passionate about making a difference in the school.
This year we worked together and powered through the lockdown periods, moving online to conduct our weekly meetings. At these meetings we began to formulate the idea for a Peer Mentor program that we really hope can be introduced in 2021 for the benefit students of all ages.
If you are a current Year 7 student, be on the lookout for advertising about this amazing program and let your friends know! And if you're a parent with a student in the junior year levels, keep on the lookout too because its an opportunity we would not want your child to miss!

The 2020 Peer Support team has been truly wonderful to work with throughout 2020 – and certainly one of the highlights of the year for me. The group’s commitment to their school community was inspiring - and their sense of teamwork, both with each other and with the Year 7 Home Group teachers, was a joy to see!
I take this opportunity to thank Ella Davis, Alisha Holt, Anouk Kastropil, Kruti Katam, Selin Tinas, Paul Ting, Otis Tobin and Alia Wong for their enthusiasm, good humour and hard work throughout 2020. It’s been a lot of fun!

Year 10
Being a part of the Peer Support Team, this year has been a fantastic opportunity to learn valuable leadership skills, make a difference in the school and even make some new friends. I would definitely encourage all that can to apply for a peer support representative position and to look out for positions in the peer support team in the future because it is a fantastic experience.

Year 10
I have so enjoyed being a part of the Peer Support Team in 2020. It has helped me learn more about leadership, teamwork, productivity and friendship, whilst also allowing us to make a difference within the school related to Year 7 adjustment and wellbeing. It has been a truly rewarding experience I would pursue again in a heartbeat, and encourage others with an interest in school leadership and student wellbeing to give it a shot too!
