Curriculum Matters

All students are currently working towards completing final tasks for the year. It is a timely reminder that the high standards of students are expected until the very last day of term. All teaching programs are written until Week 9, therefore students will be completing meaningful work that will challenge all students to continue to move their learning forward.
HSC: All My Own Work
NESA (NSW Education Standards Authority) requires all students to complete the HSC: All My Own Work program. This program has been designed to assist students to complete assessment tasks honestly and with confidence. As part of their commitment to Stage 6, NESA requires students to complete the five modules before they can be enrolled into Stage 6 (Year 11 HSC Preliminary). Year 10 students have been provided class time this week to complete HSC: All My Own Work. These modules are due to be completed and submitted by Friday 27th November.
2020 Awards Presentation
On Friday 11th December the 2020 Awards presentations will be held in the Kildare Catholic College Hall. Details about the live streaming of this event will be communicated to all families closer to the date. This is an opportunity for the school community to gather together to acknowledge a year’s worth of learning.
