Reflecting on 2020
As we come to the final newsletter for the year, it is remarkable to look back and see what has been accomplished in 2020. We have done more than we imagined, and been challenged in new and different ways. For many it has been a trial, and for many an exciting challenge. Many have wondered how to maintain faith throughout the difficult moments. James 1:2-4 says:
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
The signature character trait that has developed in each of us this year is certainly perseverance. I have been delighted to observe the growth in both students and staff as they have risen to the challenges of 2020, leaning on God and trusting Him to bring strength and develop their faith in many different situations.
May your break be refreshing and full of joy, and may you find joy and peace in the Christmas season, due to our hope in our faithful Lord.

Yearbook
Due to the unusual circumstances of 2020, the Yearbook will be distributed to families in early 2021.
Updated Change to Parent Interviews 2021
The College has joined a new Inter-school sporting and events association, and in order to allow participation in events, needs to change the online interview Student Free Days.
Parent Interviews 2021 will therefore take place on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 March, and Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 August. The first day will be Student Free Days for online interviews. The second day will be after school face-to-face interviews. We apologise for any inconvenience caused due to this change. An updated calendar is attached.
Remote Learning and Semester 2 Reports
The effect of remote learning has meant that specialist subjects in Primary and elective subjects in Secondary have had a significant impact and will not appear on reports. The exemption granted from the Victorian Registrations and Qualifications Authority allows us to make this provision for 2020 reports. Teachers will continue to adjust student outcomes in subsequent reports. We thank you for your understanding in these challenging times. Reports should be available in Edumate by the end of the day Friday 11 December. If you need assistance logging in to your parent portal to retrieve them, please contact reception.
