Father's day Edition
At last, we are able to host school photos for the 2021 year!
Our photo day is scheduled for THURSDAY 19TH NOVEMBER.
This week you would have received a new order form from SchoolPix Photography. As you can imagine, SchoolPix has a massive backlog of school photos to conduct and produce hence there will be a change to composite (headshot) style photos for this year only (see below).
Parents who have already ordered their 2020 photos do not need to order again.
All sibling photos must be ordered online at www.schoolpix.com.au and must be placed before 8:00 am Thursday 19th November.
No cash will be accepted. With the ongoing threat of COVID-19 in our community and the risks that have been associated with the handling of cash, SchoolPix has made the decision that they will NO LONGER ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS.
On our photo day, children are to wear full SUMMER UNIFORM.
Boys: Blue shirt, grey shorts, grey socks and black shoes
Girls: Summer dress, white socks and black shoes
Long hair must be tied up with hair ties which are to be either black, white or royal blue. Necklaces, bracelets and so on are not to be worn.
Children who have scheduled PE classes on our photo day may bring a pair of runners to change into for the lesson should they wish.
We would like to welcome baby Hendrix to the CCK community. Little brother to Eva Fleet (Year 1/2B) and son to proud parents Nellie and Steve.
Even though we have reduced the 'traffic' flow at after-school pick-up due to our staggered finish times, we still need to be very diligent when it comes to student safety. Please do not let children run across Ormond Road unattended or through the front car park.
Our children are only 'little people' and far more difficult to be seen by drivers out of their front and rear windows. Let's not become complacent!
And by the way, cars are not permitted to enter (or reverse into) the driveway at the back at the school.... that is a disaster waiting to happen.
Thank you to all families who are up-to-date with Fees and Levies for 2020. Normally the final date for payment of fees is the end of Third Term (unless on a payment plan) but with year we have had we are extending the due date until 30th November.
An up-to-date statement will be sent to families shortly and we request that all accounts be settled accordingly.
Have a wonderful week
Stay safe and God Bless

Book club is back for Term 4 with Issue 8 being distributed this week. Orders must be put through by the loop at:
https://mybookclubs.scholastic.com.au/Parent/Login.aspx
Keep an eye out for the Book Club catalogue coming home in your child's bag. |
Books will be given out to the students in class so there is no need for home delivery this term. However, orders are due by 5:00 pm, 27th November so make sure you have ordered by then.
Due to the school office closure, orders will not be left at the office for pick up by parents. If you want to order books for Christmas presents, please call me on 0425802950 and you can pick them up from my home.
I need to be notified of which books are to be picked up this way at your time of ordering so when the books arrive, I can separate the presents out.
If you have any questions or have trouble ordering through the online portal please let me know.
Kind regards,
Kylie Feely
