Principal's message

Dear MGSC School Community

Welcome to Term 4.

I trust you all had a well-deserved break and enjoyed some family time. The first major event for this term was the GAT held on Wednesday 7 October. Everything went smoothly and our Year 12 students seemed to be excited at the prospect of returning to school the following week.

It has been lovely having the VCE students and the Year 7 students back with us for this week and there has been a buzz in the air as they catch up in person for the first time in a few months. Preparations are underway for the Year 12 students to celebrate their last few days with us and we are planning their Virtual Graduation with our leaders.

The STEAM Centre is taking shape and, with only a slight delay, the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the first week in December. The gardens are also in full bloom and I thank Tammy once again for all her work to make the school a welcoming place for all of our students and staff.

We are looking forward to having our Year 8 to Year 10 students join us on Monday 26 October as well.

All the best

Linda Brown
