SACSA Year 5/6 girls Netball

Last Friday the Year 5/6 girls Netball team travelled to Golden Grove to compete against other Christian Schools in South Australia.  A total of 19 courts were used during the competition.

After 2 weeks of practice at school the girls had begun to learn how each other played and what their strengths were. Congratulations to the 4 girls who had only played in school competition before.  They worked super hard and were cheered on throughout the day for their efforts.

The girls won 3 games out of the 7 matches they had and all girls demonstrated great sportsmanship on the court.  No hand shaking unfortunately, but lots of elbow bumps!

Great job girls.  You made Tyndale proud. A very big thank you to Mrs Baker for attending as our First Aid Officer and Lily-Mae O’Brien (Year 8) as our scorer.
