Sammy D Foundation Visits Tyndale
On Thursday we were pleased to welcome Jess from the Sammy D Foundation who presented information to our Year 8 – 12 students on Drug and Alcohol.
The Sammy D Foundation which is based in Adelaide, educates young people on the impacts of bullying, and drug and alcohol fueled violence. By providing relevant age appropriate knowledge and tools, young people are empowered to make positive life decisions for a better community.
Jess used up-to-date information and examples so that our young people could think more about the impact of drugs and alcohol on themselves and their friends

An opportunity is also available for you to hear from Melinda Tankard Reist - writer, speaker and advocate on the sexualisation of children and what we can do about it.
