Principal's Report

Dear Collingwood College,

It is with great respect, appreciation and pride that we wish our teachers and staff a very happy World Teachers’ Day 2020.

They have gone ‘above and beyond’ to meet the needs of our students and to provide them with the opportunities, time and support that they need to learn, thrive and contribute. They are future makers – their fingerprint is on the lives of the students they teach, now and forever.

As school leaders, we have watched in awe as our staff have embraced new learning and supported one another through high level collaboration and inquiry. They have leveraged each others’ strengths and responded with compassion to the needs of those around them – their colleagues, their students, and their families.

Our staff have always lived our values.  2020 came along and they took it up a notch!

On this day we make an extra effort to say to our staff 'thank you' - thank you for all that you do and for who you are - we are so lucky to have you as part of the Collingwood College learning community.

We thank our families for their ongoing support and collaboration, and for trusting us with the learning, engagement and wellbeing of their most precious people. We love our job and we will keep working hard for you and for your children.
