News from our Principal 

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope your last  two weeks have been generous to you. 

On the school front, we have been very engaged in preparing for our Liturgies and Christmas messages to families. We hope you enjoy receiving these next week.

Yesterday, De La College Caringbah's Band played for our students today. We felt very fortunate for this was their very first performance this year. Our students displayed their great sense of rhythm and their sheer joy and appreciation for music!

Today you will receive your child's report (Via COMPASS). This is important information to see how your child is learning and engaging in the learning environment. Most importantly as a parent, my first point of call was the effort that my child displayed at school. I would hope that you find a space to sit with your child and celebrate your child's report and in particular their effort. This celebration also includes you as the first teacher of your child (especially the online learning through Covid).

Outreach at Our Lady of Fatima has always been a major focus for families to show their care and support of others, especially at Christmas time. St Vincent De Paul have also felt the restrictions of Covid, indicating to the school that a small gift card would be a very generous offering. Please feel free to contribute, but certainly feel no pressure, as families are doing it tough at this time of year.

Our Year 6 students and many of their families are Graduating from Our Lady of Fatima over the next 2 weeks. I know you will keep them in your prayers. Seven years is a long time to be part of a community and these students and their families have contributed much and will be very missed.

At this time of year we would normally be engaging face to face with you, the parents and many extended family members - the staff and the students miss you terribly.
