Digital Christmas Concert 

Dear Parents,

As I am sure you are all aware, due to the current COVID19 restrictions, and the limits on large gatherings, we will unfortunately be unable to run our annual SPS concert “Christmas on the Grass”. Current restrictions also mean that we are unable to practice any large group singing or dancing as part of Performing Arts, which means that our Christmas concert will look very different in 2020.

However, we feel that it is important that our students and our community still be able to celebrate the end of what has been a very unusual year in a positive way, and to enjoy the festive season. As such, we will be running a Christmas concert in a manner that is COVID safe.

This year, each grade’s Christmas item will be filmed during their Performing Arts lessons, and these videos put together into a Digital Christmas Concert that you will be able to enjoy with your family at home. 

The entire concert will be available via an unlisted YouTube link that will be sent to you via Sentral.

Permission for your child to be filmed and included in the YouTube video will be posted on SENTRAL tomorrow. 

Please be aware that while the YouTube link will be unlisted, and only viewable with the direct link, we cannot guarantee that this link will not be shared to others by members of our community. 

If you do notwish your child to be part of the digital concert, please specify this on the SENTRAL permission form and they will not be filmed.
