OUR FAITH

PRAYER

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.

Amen.

We pray ...

for all students preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation and for all who are sick or unwell.

LITURGY NEWS

Next week some of our Year 3 students will have the opportunity to attend Reconciliation with either Fr Chris or Fr Paul.

FAMILY MASS

Our next Family Mass will be held on Sunday 4th September at 9.30am.

We are strongly encouraging our Year 1 and Year 5 families to attend. Family Masses are an opportunity for our School community to come together with our Parish Community to celebrate and to share a ‘cuppa ‘and morning tea afterwards.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION - YEAR 6

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred by Bishop Kennedy in our St Nicholas Parish on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September. Notes to parents and carers have been sent out to eligible candidates via COMPASS.

All paperwork and money needs to submitted asap so that mass times and all details can be finalised for all candidates and their families.

FATHER'S DAY - BREAKFAST & LITURGY

There will be a Father’s Day Breakfast from 7.30am and Liturgy beginning at 9.15am at St Nicholas School on Friday 2nd September. We warmly welcome our Dads, Uncles, Granddads, Pops and families to join us for this celebration.
