Assembly 

Family and friends are welcome to attend our assemblies, which are held in the under-cover area.  Please note that ALL visitors to school grounds must comply with current COVID guidelines.  If you are unwell, please refrain from attending.

This term in Inquiry 4/5K students have been learning about the First Fleet. Students have been working hard to create models of each of the ships of the First Fleet including some fast facts about their ship.  

4/5K students have also been enjoying learning about poetry. We have been learning to write different types of poems so that we can express our personal thoughts in an imaginative way to entertain our target audiences. Some key elements in poetry that we have learnt to use include:  

•             Stanza 

•             Lines 

•             Rhyme 

•             Rhythm 

•             Sound play 

•             and Figurative language… like onomatopoeia! 

Last week, 5/6B shared what they have been learning about poetry.
