A Path To Follow

FREE event we have coming up for parents and their teens in regard to Suicide Prevention

We are most pleased to share a unique suicide prevention session for parents and teen/s (15 years and above).

It's no secret that Suicide is one of the largest preventable causes of death for young people . It is also no secret that most young people will know of someone who has died by suicide.

At South Eastern Suicide Prevention Network we want to support families to start and keep having conversations around suicide prevention. It is hard enough to start any conversations during adolescence, let alone on topics this hard.

We will share our tools and tips with parents and their teens, to make this easier to accomplish.

At our session, Creating Conversations, young people and parents will get the chance to learn and share feedback as a combined larger group and within their smaller teen and parent groupings; enabling a range of experiences and strategies to be shared.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Kirstie can be contacted prior to 31st of August for any questions (0478 310 1456).

After that queries can be directed to Jackie on: 0408 105 598.

A light afternoon tea will be provided on the day. There will also be wellbeing support available for those who require it.
