Our class stick insect is growing rapidly. 

We had a hold whilst we did a thorough cage clean. He is twice as big as he was!!!

We learnt the four steps to asking to Pat someone else’s dog. Then we had a practice! Deanne the educator said she was very impressed with how sensible we were. Her dog Luka gave us the sniff of approval.

Grade 2 Bricks for Kids Incursion

Last Tuesday the Grade 2’s loved following an algorithm to create a windmill with Bindy from Bricks for Kidz! They worked together in pairs to collect and put together the Lego pieces, connecting the battery at the end to make it work.

My class went to Bricks for Kids. We made windmills. My partner was Blake. My windmill was able to work because it was big. 

Lucian 2EM

In the morning we went to an incursion and there was a girl named Bindy and she taught us about pieces of Lego and then we took turns being the shopper and builder. The builder builds the Lego windmill. The shopper gives the Lego to the builder and I was partners with Tate and we both took turns doing it. Then we went back to the classroom. Then we ate some fruit and I went to Mrs Ritchie.

Today I built a windmill model. And Jaxon was my partner. Our teachers name was Bindy. When we finished we got to make it better. Me and Jaxon made a pool and a picnic table.

Today I built a windmill. My partner was Jade. She was so confused so I started. She got the hang of it but she was still confused. How we did it was followed an algorithm. A bird flew in. We built it out of Lego. The lady’s name was Bindy. It was so much fun.
