College Captains' Report 

The last couple of weeks for Year 7 has been good but also quite busy finishing all the PBLs. We also had our first athletics at Beaumaris Secondary College which was awesome to take part in and nice to see Waratah come out on top! 

Coming to the end of Term 3 means another term of sport has now ended and there will be new sports next term. I’m sure that we are all looking forward to Term 4 and summer coming soon.

The Year 8s have been having a great time completing all our PBLs for each subject. We have been learning about mixtures and filtering in BEST, migration in Our World, decimals in Maths and so on. On Monday 22 August, all year levels attended house athletics; everyone gave it a go and dressed up in their house colours. The overall result was Ricketts 1st, Waratah 2nd, Beckett 3rd and Southern 4th. On Monday 29 August, the winners from the events continued on to Divisionals where there were many great achievements and the day was a great success.
