Woodwind & Voice/Piano Sessional Tutors

Beaumaris Secondary College is seeking capable, engaging and passionate Woodwind & Voice/Piano sessional tutors to provide individual and group lessons to our students from Years 7-11 (with growth to Year 12 in the next year.) 

 

The successful applicants will also possess a demonstrated experience in leading ensembles and show a keen interest in supporting the growth of our new Instrumental Music Program. 

 

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant music qualifications and experience in teaching their instrument
  • High-level performance skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire students in the instrumental and extra-curricular music program
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents and staff
  • Support BSC's various music and community events, including the college's production
  • Possess current and valid WWC registration

 Commencing Term 3, Semester 2: 

  • Woodwind 1.5 hours
  • Piano and Piano/Keyboard Ensemble 2.5 hours (ability to also teach Voice preferred)
