Progress reports are available for viewing in Compass, and if you have not done so already, please take the time to discuss this with your child, as it provides parents and guardians with a brief snapshot of how students are progressing during the second semester.
It was great to see the large number of bookings for the Year 7-10 Parent-Student-Teacher Interviews earlier this week! We trust that the meetings were useful in identifying areas to focus on in Term 4. It is important for students to commit to following through with key strategies to ensure continued growth and progress for the remainder of the year.
For students completing Unit 3/4 studies, an essential component of Term 3 holidays is the allocation of time to prepare for the upcoming VCAA examinations. To support and assist our VCE students, Senior School teachers have scheduled revision sessions to be conducted at school during the second week of the September school holidays. In addition, all students have been offered the opportunity to undertake external revision seminars, which are free of charge. Please see attached flyer for details of the program. Individual students can sign-up via this link:learning.skyline.org.au
We are fortunate to be enjoying some warmer weather in these past few weeks. The start of Term 4 is also time for the school winter uniform to be stored away for six months! Students and families are reminded that all students should be in full summer uniform on the first day of Term 4. This means, summer dress for girls, no tights or stockings. Students participating in PE and sports classes are expected to wear a school cap when outside.
Wish all students and families a restful break!
