Recycling Pens 

at COHR

Next term, we will have an opportunity to recycle our plastic pens at COHR. You will be able to bring in your old plastic pens and markers and drop them off into the recycling box which will be located in the office foyer. Your recycled writing instruments will then be sent to Terra-cycle to be recycled and given a second life. The recycled pens will be turned into benches, picnic tables and even playgrounds.

Accepted waste:

Any brand of pen, felt tip, highlighter, marker, correction fluid pot (must be empty), correction tape, mechanical pencil and eraser pen regardless of their composition.

Note that we do not accept glue sticks, erasers, rulers or other cutting objects that could disturb the recycling process.

Please be careful not to include any of those items.
