Holy Saviour Mini-Fest

Holy Saviour Mini- fest & Twilight Cinema

The school is abuzz with excitement as we gear up for the Holy Saviour Mini-Fest and Twilight Cinema  on Saturday 12th November.  As always it will be a celebration of our community coming together filled with fun stalls and activities for all. This year's celebration will look a little different to other Holy Saviour festivals but no doubt will be an amazing community event and a nice warm up for our grand 50th year anniversary in 2024.  As always, your support is key to a successful fun filled event.

Mini-Fest Volunteers

Events such as the Holy Saviour Mini-Fest cannot run without the invaluable support and assistance of volunteers. This term the Festival committee will be requesting volunteers to assist on the day.  Each class will be responsible for running a stall at the festival. We will need as many volunteers as possible on the day to assist with the set up and running of those stalls. We will also need volunteers to assist with the pack up before the twilight cinema commences that night.

Each class group has a parent rep that will be approaching families for support (refer to the table below). Please volunteer to assist your group in any way you can.

We are really excited to be able to run this event! The festival committee would like to thank families for all your generous contributions. Without the support from families we cannot run successful events like the Holy Saviour Mini-Fest.

Bar Donations

We are seeking donations of light beer, sparkling wine and white wine for the mini fest Bar. If you are able to support and contribute to the bar,  the committee is requesting that all alcohol is dropped on the Friday before the Mini-Fest (Friday 11th November 2022).

If you are able to contribute, please email the festival committee by Wednesday 2nd November as this will allow us to work out what we need to purchase and how we can raise the funds to support and make our bar successful.

Jar Donations

Do you have any spare clean empty jars lying around?  We are asking families to please start collecting empty jars for the Lucky Jar Dip Stall.

Mini-Fest Plant Stall

This year the Grade 4/5's have offered to run the Mini-Fest Plant Stall with the leadership of Danielle O'Connor. If you have any plants that you would like to make available for sale (whether 1 plant or a dozen or more) please let Danielle know.  ALL CONTRIBUTIONS ARE WELCOME. Please advise the type and quantity of plants you will be donating so that we can determine the number of tables needed to display them on the day.  Please contact Danielle via email: danielleoco@gmail.com or hspcommunityfestival@gmail.com. Thank you once more in anticipation of your generous contributions.

Holy Saviour Festival Toy Stall

Gr3/4EW would like to let you know that we are having a second hand TOY STALL at the Festival in November. We're hoping that if you're doing any clearing out over the holidays, you might save old toys for our stall. From a curriculum perspective we will learn about pricing, counting and handling money and categorising items.  We ask that everything be clean and in working order. Your child/ren can drop items at our classroom any time from now. In anticipation of your support, 3/4EW

Twilight Cinema

Don't forget the Holy Saviour Twilight Cinema will be straight after the Mini-Fest! An exciting afternoon and evening is planned. More details will be released in the coming weeks.
