BYOD in Year Three

In Year 3, we have been very fortunate to begin the BYOD program and have had many opportunities to grow and develop our Digital Technology skills. Using our iPads we have looked at publishing our writing, creating posters using apps like Sketches, typing the recipes from Harvest to Table to create cookbooks and using the Measure App to assist us in calculating the perimeter of different classroom objects are just some of the wonderful ways we are using technology in our learning. We have also increased our knowledge around Cyber Safety and creating long and strong passwords to keep our information safe online. Take a look below at all the fantastic things we have been doing!

Digiknow the Cyber Safety Project now have a podcast?!

The families in our school community can now take the Cyber Safety Project along for the ride and let them spark some conversation on your drive to school. Their brand new podcast, Digiknow, is designed to support families to talk together to level up their cyber safety and digital wellbeing.In short "byte-sized" episodes, Trent and Sam will share information, pose discussion starters and provide some simple tips and tricks. The perfect take-along for a short road trip or even a family dinner.
