Principal's Report
3 Way Conferences
Interviews give you a great opportunity to learn more about your child's academic, emotional, and social development. They help your child's teachers understand more about your child and allows you to interact with both your child and teacher in a positive and authentic way. Congratulations to all our students and parents that were able to join in with their child’s teacher for 3-way Conferences this week. I am so proud of our students to be able to end the term in such a positive and successful forum and set goals ready for Term 4.
Enrolment
If you haven’t enrolled your child for Prep 2023, please contact the school immediately. Also, if you are moving or leaving BHPS, could you please contact us. This information is crucial so we can plan for 2023 accurately.
Footy Grand Final
Whether you barrack for Collingwood, Sydney Swans, Brisbane or Geelong, it is great to be able to watch and celebrate and barrack for a team on Grand Final day next week. To help us get in the mood for footy fever, we loved seeing our students dress up in their favourite sporting code yesterday as we celebrated our wonderful Aussie footballers and the very special excitement that comes with Grand Final fever.
NAPLAN Results
Boronia Heights students and staff have cause for celebration this term with the results of our NAPLAN. Congratulations to our Year 3 and 5 students on their excellent NAPLAN results. Assembly…. Thank you
Our wonderful Ms. Laura McHugh has the big responsibility for our Friday Virtual assemblies. I join in with all the kind emails that parents have sent to me in congratulating Laura for her informative, amusing, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable Friday assemblies. Our virtual assemblies have allowed our staff to go into your homes and celebrate with you our school news and allow our Year 6 school leaders to further develop their leadership skills and support and congratulate our students in achieving special awards and special mention. Thank you, Laura, for keeping our community together and well informed.
