Hats: Please remember to have pack or leave a broad brimmed hat at school. This is really important on Beach School days as there is no shade available on the beach.
Library: Prep students have Library each Tuesday, so please help remind your child to pack their library bag and books so as they can borrow.

Sovereign Hill Excursion: Please remember to log on to COMPASS and complete the Permission/payment for your student to attend the excursion. Our excursion to Sovereign Hill requires us to leave school by 8.30am (as the travel time is quite far). This is a reminder that students must be at their classroom before 8.30am to complete the roll and head on to the bus with their classroom teacher.
Homework Books: Please remember that homework books are to be bought to school on a Monday and Friday. Please remind your children to have these in their bags.

Ecolinc Excursion: We are off on our excursion to Ecolinc in Bacchus Marsh on Monday. The bus needs to leave Barwon Heads at 8:30am so we can arrive, ready to star,t at Ecolinc , at 10am. We would like all students to please be at school, and in their classrooms, so that we can mark the roles, at 8:15am.
Your child will need a small backpack or bag with their lunch box (rubbish free please - any rubbish will come home in your child’s lunch box as there are no bins available), water bottle and a hat. Your child might also need a jacket or sunscreen depending on the weather. School uniform should be worn on this day.

Reminders:

Lost Property (Camp): There are a couple of sleeping bags, clothing and a lunch box that hasn't been collected from camp. If you think they may belong to you, please ask your child to see Mrs Renfrey.
School Diary: Students are expected to have their diary at school every day, in the next couple of weeks their Term 4 goals will be set by students and teachers. We would love students to remember to pack their diary independently, but sometimes they need a little extra reminding.

Every Tuesday is the Grade 4 Garden program, timetable is as follows:
- Grade 4C, Tuesday the 18th and 25th of October
- Grade 4A, Tuesday 8th and 15th of November
- Grade 4B, Tuesday the 22nd and 29th of November
Wednesday the 30th of November - 2nd of December - Camp to Lyrebird Park (more details to come)
Tuesday the 6th of December - Excursion to ScienceWorks

Camp News: After a false start, we have been lucky enough to secure a two-night camp to Lyrebird Park in Yellingbo (near the Dandenongs). More details will be shared via Compass this week!
