Masses this term

Welcome back to term 4. This term there will be many opportunities for us to celebrate mass together. We welcome families to join us at these celebrations.

• Wednesday 2/11 9:00 Whole school Mass for All Saints Day
• Wednesday 9:   9/11/Prep level Mass
• Thursday 15/12 12:00 Thanksgiving Mass for End of School Year 

There will also be Advent liturgies in the last few weeks. More information about to come.

Staff Retreat Day

Next Wednesday 12/10 all our staff will join together in a Staff retreat day. This day will be facilitated by Helena Goldsmith, Catholic Mission and Identity from Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) 

The aims of this day are 

• to support staff spiritual and religious formation through prayer, connecting the personal experience of God with a focus on the school context, relationships and God’s creation
• centred on the theme of the Holy Spirit bringing refreshment, renewal, new life.

After our 2 plus years of COVID restrictions this will be a wonderful day for our staff to reflect on our mission and hopefully renew our spirits for our most important work.

PARISH NEWS

Parish fortnightly:  Welcome back to the last term for 2022.  The year is certainly flying by very quickly.  Of course, the big news for the week is our upcoming fete this Saturday 8th October.  We hope that it will be a fun-filled day for all.  Make sure you spread the word to family and friends and we hope to see huge crowds especially since we have not been able to hold the fete for a couple of years due to severe COVID restrictions.  Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.  Don’t forget to get your raffle tickets back.  Great prizes are on offer again this year.  You can, of course, return your tickets on the day to the Information/Raffle Stall.  Have a lovely week and see you on Saturday.

Holy Spirit is a child safe Parish.  We hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility of our Parish.
