Junior Years Excursion

Port of Echuca

Junior Years Excursion to the Port of Echuca

On Thursday 6th October F/1 and Year 1/2 classes went on an excursion to Echuca.  We went on a Paddle Steamer and visited Twisted Science.   The bus dropped us off at the Port of Echuca.

There were lots of things to do at Twisted Science.  Our favourite things were the air pipes, the paper plane sling-shot, the tube phones and the giant magnet wall.  Some of the activities were tricky and we needed to keep trying to make it work.

The Paddle Steamer we travelled on was the PS Canberra.  It had a steam engine and two paddle wheels.  Some students were on the bottom deck and others were on the top deck. The paddle steam ride went for almost an hour.

Students had lunch and a play on the playground.   It was a great day and everyone enjoyed the two activities.
