Torquay Theatre Troupe

This is a gem of a play containing humour, pathos and song all of which combine to deliver a heart-warming based on the life of acclaimed Irish singer and harpist, Mary O’Hara. Grief-stricken following an untimely tragedy, Mary retreats from the world, abandoning her promising singing career. A chance meeting with an alcoholic leads to a feisty relationship and the transformation of both lives.

Audiences will not fail to be delighted by the lyrical Irish voices of Tracey McKeague and Theresa Horton as they perform some of Mary O’Hara’s well known songs.

Tickets for this must see production are available from www.trybooking.com

For the first time,  TTT is offering, not only numbered regular seats, but also a limited number of front row couch seats, with complimentary drink and chocolates, for each performance. Spoil yourself with one of these tickets by contacting socialsec@ttt.org.au

Melbourne Theatre School

Patrick School of the Arts is excited to be launching Melbourne Theatre School, a new fully-integrated program for young performers aged 5 - 17yrs old wanting to further their musical theatre training.

We are finding with our tertiary auditions that there are gaps in the skill sets of young performers. The musical theatre industry demands strength in the key areas of Acting, Singing, and Dancing, so we have built Melbourne Theatre School to address that demand.

Melbourne Theatre School has something for young performers of all ages and particularly in the intermediate and senior age groups aims to prepare young people for tertiary auditions and a career in the performing arts sector.

Auditions are taking place on Sunday October 23rd, and applications can be made at https://www.psarts.com.au/melbourne-theatre-school/
