PARENT INFORMATION

VALE Kynan Jones

Dear LHS Families, I write to you with some very sad news about the passing of one of our past students over the weekend.

Kynan was in Year 10 at LHS until the end of 2021. He was an exceptionally popular student who was fondly thought of by students across the year levels and the teaching/support staff.

He was heavily involved with Mooroolbark Football and Cricket Club with friends from across the area. Kynan’s primary school years were spent at Birmingham PS.

Our thoughts are with Emma, Bryn, Shayla, Camdyn and the extended family at this incredibly difficult time.

We are also aware that many of Kynan’s friends may be affected by his passing.

For anyone who may need support, please be aware that our wellbeing team are available to assist, there is also a list of helpful resources below:

Sincerely

Wendy Powson
