From the Principal

Week 8  Term 3 2021

Dear Parents and Guardians

What a beautiful start to spring. We couldn't have asked for better weather!!!!

Yesterdays annoucement from the Premier gave little information/direction for when schools will return to face to face learning. I totally understand this is difficult for all those involved in education; students, families,  and education staff. I look forward to the Premiers annoucement next week which will hopefully provide us with direction. What was clear  from yesterdays update is that children will continue to learn from home for the remainder of Term 3.

There was some light for those undertaking the GAT ( secondary school) with a clear date for when  they will be able to complete their GAT. This is welcome news for those students.

With the continual uncertainty during these challenging times the wellbeing of all the members of our community is of high priority. If you know of anyone who is struggling please let the school know. We have a wonderful community who are willing to assist in a variety of ways.

Father's Day

On behalf of our community  I would like to wish all father's a happy Fathers Day for this Sunday. I hope the day is special for each and every dad.  Unfortunately the Father's Day breakfast and stall has had to be cancelled this year.  I am looking forward to when I can actually be part of a Father's Day breakfast at St Bede's.!!!!!!

Confirmation

At this current time I can not provide our community with an update on when Confirmation will take place. As previously mentioned once we are able to have 100 in the church Fr John will provide us with times.  I will keep you informed.

Enrolments for 2022

Do you know any other families that are looking to join our wonderful school community in 2022?

Please let them know that enrolments are still open for Prep and across all year levels. Contact the office for an information and enrolment pack.

Just a reminder to any families that are leaving St Bede's at the end of the year  ( except Yr.6) please let Chris in the office know by tomorrow.

Have a great weekend

Brian
