Whole School Yoga for Arlington

Yoga has many mental and physical benefits especially at this time of uncertainty. Emily Smith will be offering some mindful yoga where the children and families will be able to experience yoga through story. Different themes or issues will be explored, each with ebb and flow of outward movement and inward contemplation.

For the body yoga helps develop strong, flexible healthy bodies, lengthens growing muscles and it helps improve awareness and coordination. For the mind yoga helps cultivate confidence, self esteem, concentration, attention, clears the mind, helps deal with stress and balances emotions. For the spirit yoga helps foster creativity, expression, imagination, respect for self and others, builds balance, inner quiet, strength, resilience and self acceptance.

All children would benefit from this and so Emily is offering it to anyone who feels the call for some time out to nurture themselves. These sessions will be running every Friday whilst we are learning remotely. Parents are welcome to join in with their child at home too.

Fridays 11.30am to 12.00pm
