COVID Safe Restrictions / Changes

As announced by The DET and the Premier; Remote and Flexible Learning will continue until the end of Term 3. Teachers are busy preparing for the extended period of time. You will see all work and or tasks, unloaded on to ClassDojo. If you require a hard pack for your child/ren, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly staff in the office. Teachers are checking-in with students everyday before 10am. Stay connected and stay tuned for any updates. Be safe and know that you can call the school at any time for help, or if you have any questions.

Foundation 2022 Enrolments

All enrolment documents are available to download from our website. You may also contact the school and we can send the information to you via email or the post.

If you know of any families who are interested in enrolling, please ask them to contact the school. Thank you to our families who are getting the good word out in the community about our school, word of mouth is the most powerful form of advertising and consequently, we are fielding an increased number of inquiries about our school.

Unfortunately, until the health advice changes, we are unable to do school tours. Fingers crossed, this changes soon.

Planning Week

In the last week of school (Week 10) our teachers will be allocated a day for planning. This day allows our staff to review the data from the previous term, update the curriculum planners for each of the subjects taught and then using this information, plan the program for the upcoming term. Daily Webex will not be conducted on the  allocated planning day however, work for the day will be uploaded to ClassDojo. Students onsite will be supervised by Specialist Staff.

First of September, Hats Remember!

Don’t forget when our students return onsite they will need to wear their school hat. If your child’s hat is frayed or has writing on it, it will need to be replaced. ETRS hats can be purchased at the office for $10.

Assistant Principal Position

The school’s Assistant Principal position is currently being advertised. Due to family commitments, Anthea has decided not to re-apply for the position. It has been a difficult decision, however she has been in the role for nearly 4 years and has decided that it is time to hand the reins over. Anthea will remain in the assistant Principal’s role until the end of the year.

Community Connections Program

This week we have launched our Community Connections Program with our local kindergartens. Normally we would be physically visiting kindergartens in person, however this time round we are doing this virtually via Webex. We have been sharing stories, singing songs and they have also had the privilege of meeting our school dogs Bernie and Frankie. This program will continue until the formal transition program begins in November.
