Principal Post

Dear Families,

What a beautiful start to September!! Spring is in the air..... Enjoy the opportunity to get outside and refresh the mind and body!!

Throughout  lockdown, I'm sure that on your walks or bike rides  you may have come across lovely messages of hope or kindness similar to the one above.   I hope that these messages bring a smile to you and help you recognise the care that people have for others!  As families, I'm sure we are all trying to find ways of connecting outside of school and work tasks. It is so important! In challenging times, remember to get online to connect to extended family and to friends. Most of all take care of one another and reach out if you require help.

The Premier of Victoria announced today that the lockdown will continue and that there will be no return to onsite learning for Term 3 in Melbourne.

A plan for Term 4 will be announced by the Premier at a later date.

With our Lockdown extended for the remainder of the term, students will be required to work from home.

As has already been the case the school will remain open for students whose parents are authorised permitted workers and those  students who are considered vulnerable. If you require your child to come to school please forward an email and your 'Permitted Workers Authorisation' to admin@sjvmulgrave.catholic.edu.au

If your child is currently attending school and you have forwarded all the appropriate documentation, you do not need to re-send.

It is good to note that playgrounds will reopen from this Friday for children under 12 and that people may exercise for up to 3 hours per day!

Remote Learning Survey Results

Please read a summary of the survey results further in our newsletter. We have listened to your suggestions and acted upon them.

Thank you to everyone who has given feedback. We value your input.

Your encouraging words about how the school is operating in this challenging time and to staff and have truly been appreciated.
