Principal's Report

Staffing Update

Nina Tanner has taken a position at Adelaide Botanic HS for the rest of the year. We wish Nina well in her new role as Wellbeing Co-ordinator.

Effie Szalai is supporting with the Wellbeing role for 3 weeks.

In that time we will manage a selection process to fill the position until the end of the year.

Student Leader Teams

Our Senior students have recommenced their team meetings which were interrupted due to the recent lockdown.

Students voted for a focus for each team.

All teams have reviewed relevant data to set their target for improvement.

We have 6 teams:

·         Wellbeing

·         Sustainability

·         Marketing

·         Sports

·         STEM

·         Student Pillar Team

Each team has a leader (chairperson for meetings) and all meeting minutes are recorded electronically so we all have access to progress notes.

Keep an eye out for student led changes and improvements across the school!

External School Review Team

Next week we will have a Review Team visiting our school next week to conduct a review of our School improvement processes and student learning outcomes.

They will focus on 3 specific areas:

·         School Improvement processes

·         Teaching practice

·         Student involvement in learning

They will be interviewing staff and students as well as spending time in classrooms.

We will receive a written report once the review is complete.

Once we get the final report we will publish it on our website.
