Tom Stockwell - MTB Star

Congratulations to Year 11 student, Tom Stockwell who won the U19 section of the Adelaide Mountain Bike Club Flinders University Cross-Country Olympic (XCO).  

Having ridden for seven years, Tom has only been riding competitively for 18 months. He started mountain bike riding around town on little dirt trails with friends on the weekends and it has grown from there. 

"I look up to Mathieu Van Der Poel as he is a rider that consistently performs amazingly in all disciplines of riding whether that be road racing, MTB or Cyclocross," Tom reflected.

Tom's next goal in mountain biking is to attend and complete the XCO race at the 2022 Nationals in Maydena, Tasmania.
