GROWING TOGETHER
MEET, MEAT ……. PETE
LOCKDOWN LOVIN’ LAUNCHED
What a week, I mean what an incredible week. Our much loved guinea pigs have hit the ‘burbs in a big way. ‘Lockdown Lovin’ Round 1 launched last week and the guinea pigs have been returned, all alive 🙏🤪, ready for Round 2 next week. Round 3 will encompass the holiday period. If anyone is interested in joining the program into the future please email me.
We were blessed with the company of the ‘Almighty’ Mrs Douglas on our much loved garden show this week. Mr Wood launched his solo air guitar career next to our much loved (slightly more attractive, taller and better hairstyle than me 😡) Damo. Any air guitar songs or pictures of the family playing air guitar Damo style please email to me.
Professor Pete was introduced to our ever growing garden team. Interesting to note Pete is a meteorologist, has a side business as a butcher 🥩 and designs and sells his own meeting and greeting cards. Wow that’s a lot of ‘meat, meet, meteorology’ Pete! We’d love to start a garden ‘Pete Page’ so any dads, mums, brothers, sisters ….. please email me your pictures of people named Pete. Stay tuned for Professor Pete’s segment next week. He’s sure to fill us in on sunrise and sunset times and maybe even give us best buys in the meat world. He’s one talented scarecrow.
Many of our seedlings sown from seed by our world famous ‘hothouse flowers’ team have been planted in the garden. Thanks for all the lovin’ team. The hothouse is now full of seeds on the grow including calendula, zucchini, chamomile, radish, broad beans and sunflower seeds. It was very exciting to get Ruby to plant her sunflower live on our meet whilst I gave it a virtual kiss and Mr Wood and I sang endless love to it 😍🥲. I get emotional just thinking about it. It’s sure to grow with all that lovin’.
Let the games begin. Our baby chicks are being introduced to our old chickens. We trust the chooks will quickly work out the pecking order without too much fighting 🤞. All is going well so far.
