Principal's Update

Thank you to all families and staff for your ongoing support with this week’s remote learning.  It was great to hear how students have been engaging with their learning and other organised activities such as Father’s Day baking, Lego challenges, and Poetry Readings.

As announced yesterday, all students in Prep – 2 will return to face-to-face learning from tomorrow. Students in Years 3-6 will continue to participate in remote learning and tomorrow, we will have another ‘drive-by’ collection of learning materials, for students who do not have a younger sibling at school.  Where possible, please attend during the following times, according to your child’s surname: A-M 2.00 – 2.20pm and N-Z 2.20 – 2.40pm.

Super Jumper Steph!
Super Jumper Steph!

It was great to see students joining in the ‘Virtual Jump Off’ yesterday.  Congratulations to all students on their participation in this year’s Jump Rope for Heart and many thanks to Steph for her organisation and to everyone who has supported our students in this challenge.  As a result, over $6,400 has been raised by students, to support valuable research for the Heart Foundation. This is a fantastic achievement!

Next term, the Dental Van will be visiting to provide free check-ups to students (Week commencing 29 November 2021).  Tomorrow is the last opportunity to return the Dental Health forms. If you require an additional form, please contact the office.

In preparation for the end of term, it would be appreciated if families could also please return all library books tomorrow

Please note that for students who are attending onsite, school will finish next Friday the 17th of September, at the earlier time of 2.20pm

Thank you again for your ongoing support.  We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
