Middle Years 

Congratulations to Liam Jeffrey who was awarded the Junior Choice Award at the NHMA National Heritage Rally at the Hamilton Harness Racing Track, for his demonstration of the 1930s/40s vintage Buffalo portable forge. He put the forge into operation for the first time, demonstrating his self-taught blacksmithing skills by making forge tools and fire pokers.  The judges were very impressed with his work. Over the past two months, with his father’s guidance, Liam has stripped, repaired, painted and reassembled the forge. Liam is an active member of the Hamilton Pastoral Museum.
