NAPLAN testing

The NAPLAN tests for Years 7 and 9 will be administered at Preshil next week as follows:

Tuesday 15 May

9am - Language Conventions

10.15am - Writing

Wednesday 16 May

9am - Reading

Thursday 17 May

9am - Numeracy

All students are expected to attend school on test days; for those not sitting NAPLAN classes will still be running.

2019 term dates

Term 1: 

Thursday 31 January to Friday 5 April

Term 2:

Wednesday 24 April to Friday 21 June

Term 3:

Tuesday 16 July to Friday 20 September

Term 4:

Tuesday 8 October to Tuesday 10 December

Join in this Mother's Day celebration and support a very worthy cause

Our Strings Attached  ensemble will be performing at the Mother's Day lunch organised by the Kew East Mothers Group. Each year these local mums get together for a lovely lunch and fun afternoon to raise funds for charity. This year they have chosen to help Very Special Kids, an Australian children's hospice that provides respite and end of life care.

Update on Mary Ann

Mary Ann is recuperating slowly but on the mend after her fall outside Kalimna last week. The laceration she sustained to her leg was deep and the healing process has been complicated by an infection. She is very appreciative of all the messages of support and well wishes and particularly for the card the students made her.
