Year 7

Year 7 Activity Day

Since the exams had wrapped up for year 7, Mr. Nats and the year 7 homeroom teachers decided to reward the students for their hard work this semester and their preparation for the exams. The day was filled with heaps of fun and sporting activities that kept everyone involved.

We played sporting games such as speed-ball and indoor soccer. There were board games for those less-interested in sports. Following those activities in period 1 and 2, there were movies in each of the homerooms for students to watch. After the movies concluded, there was a year 7 assembly, in which awards were handed out. The day was a terrific reward for all of our hard work this semester.

Year 7 2019

The Year 7 class have enjoyed a fantastic first year of secondary school. Coming from over thirty primary schools, it has been particularly pleasing to see how well they have made and then consolidated new friendships. They should be particularly proud of their efforts this year.

I praise our young men for their significant contributions to the various Social Justice Programs including Easter Hamper, Chocolate Drive, Mission Action Day (Walkathon) and Christmas Appeal. The homeroom teachers have worked tirelessly to provide quality educational experiences. The students are very fortunate to have such positive role models. Their efforts, dedication, and hard work have seen this group exceed all our expectations. To Ms Rachel Urquhart, Mr Phillip Thomas and Ms Laura Desmet and Mr Joshua Romeo, thank you for your efforts.

To the Year 7 class of 2019, congratulations on your many achievements. I hope you will embrace the challenges of Year 8 with the same enthusiasm as you have this year. To all Year 7 students and their families, I wish you a safe, happy and holy Christmas and New Year period.
