Battle Bot

In the last week of Year Seven Engineering and Design, we run a Sumo Bot challenge, to see who can make the strongest robot. Then we have a battle in class. This time, the screaming from our audience brought Mr Pooley down to see who was in trouble. But the battles were fantastic. Some robots were built as tanks. Some were more flimsy, but with deadly weapons mounted on the front, or clever lifting devices to flip their enemy.

In 7.2, the winner of the sumo championship was Harrison Urwin, assisted by Alexander Roukakis.

In 7.1 the winners were Anthony Emelianov  and Viktor Romic.

They battled through the loser’s round to come out on top, facing the victor of the winner’s round to snatch victory.
