Primary Co-Curricular Report

Term 3 sport resumed this week with most teams returning to competition.

The Primary A Soccer boys took on St Ignatius at Barton Tce and ended up with a 2-2 draw after withstanding some tough play. Mrs LaForgia was very impressed with the way in which the boys conducted themselves and the positive attitude they demonstrated during the game. The Primary B team travelled to Scotch and went down 2-4 against an athletic Scotch side. The Year 3/4/5 teams also travelled to Scotch, but both teams came away with wins. Miss Schenk was also pleased with the conduct of our boys throughout.

The Year 4/5 basketball team fought right to the end, but their opposition got away in the final few minutes with a few baskets. Mrs Rowley was very proud of the boys and how well they played but unfortunately they just came up short. The Year 6/7 team had a BYE but are back in action this week against East Adelaide.

The lacrosse team fought out a tough 10-10 draw against ETP. The boys played well and the draw was probably a fitting result for an even game. They play another tough opponent this week in Burnside.

Punctuality

I ask families to ensure they arrive on time so teams do not start at a disadvantage and coaches are able to prepare suitably. Please consider how lateness affects the other people involved.

Have a good week.
